PA System Problem Solved at Multipurpose Public Park
After local government became the owners of a bankrupt country club, and converted it to a public park, no one foresaw a big issue with the PA systems. A portable PA system was purchased for outdoor sports events, including tennis tournaments and swim meets. People renting the banquet hall in the club for conferences, weddings and other events were allowed to use the portable PA System if it was available, or they could bring their own equipment. At first, a sound system was rented for the Summer Night concert series held outside on the lawn. Many complaints were received about sound quality at the first few concerts, but nothing was done to remedy the problem. The bomb threat changed everything. The topic of a conference held in the banquet hall aroused the fury of some local lunatic. Conference attendees were quickly evacuated, but then the park staff realized that people at the ongoing tennis tournament were also at risk. Luckily, the bomb threat was a hoax. The evacuation of people in the bleachers at the ten tennis courts was very confused and much too slow. The media took up the story of bungled evacuation and blasted the local government for incompetence. As a result, there was a quick decision to purchase a TOA PA System. The new TOA System is specifically designed for high quality sound at indoor and outdoor events, including concerts and sports events. The software-controlled network of PA Systems channels appropriate sound and announcements to each of the park's facilities. The entire park is covered by the PA network, including the outdoor concert area, parking lots, tennis courts, swimming pool, and all indoor rooms of the building. The digital technology used in the banquet hall and in the outdoor concert area ensures excellent sound quality. The TOA System has proven to be outstanding for all live music events and public announcement needs at the park. As part of an economic development plan to increase tourism, the local government recently held a three day music festival at the park which proved the value of the PA Systems. Live concerts of jazz, rock, pop, and classical music were attended by literally thousands of people. The TOA System was a brilliant solution for the park's multiple uses and for crowd control as well.Author: Marlon Jackson
